🚨 AMBER ALERT: PLEASE HELP BRING PARKER HOME SAFELY 🚨
PADA is asking our members, supporters and the broader disability community to share this urgent AMBER Alert issued by the Calgary Police Service for 11-year-old Parker.
Parker was last seen in northeast Calgary on Thursday, July 16, at approximately 12:52 p.m. Authorities say he is neurodivergent, non-speaking and functions developmentally at approximately the level of a two- to three-year-old child. He may be frightened and could become even more distressed if approached by strangers.
Description provided in the Alberta Emergency Alert:
• 4 feet 11 inch tall
• Approximately 90 pounds
• Brown hair and brown eyes
• Wearing black shorts
• Wearing black noise-cancelling headphones
• No shirt
⚠️ If you see Parker, do not approach or chase him. Call 911 immediately and keep him in sight from a safe distance, when possible.
Residents in the following Calgary communities are being asked to thoroughly check their properties:
Cambrian Heights, Thorncliffe, North Haven, North Haven Upper, Highwood, Highland Park, Greenview and Greenview Industrial Park.
Please carefully check yards, garages, sheds, under decks, pools, hot tubs and other sheltered areas where a frightened child may hide. Do not enter anyone else’s property without permission or place yourself at risk while searching.
Parker may not hear someone calling for him because of his noise-cancelling headphones. Please remain observant and follow the Calgary Police Service’s official social media channels for the latest verified information.
Share this post widely. Every set of eyes matters, and our entire community is hoping for Parker’s safe return.
