2007 was the year I remember it all changing. It was the year we suddenly had to triple take the mirror before we left the house, added another layer of makeup and packed concealer for touch ups. It was the year the term “selfie” and “profile pic” became part of our every day vocabulary. It was the year we could press these magical buttons on our phones and have our faces look like a famous French painter created us. It was the last time we could just enjoy a photo with friends and not have to do a “redo”.
Social media filters have 10000% conditioned us to find our flaws. We have a skewed perception of what we look like naturally, now add a layer or altered reality, and suddenly the face looking back in the mirror is our new project.
We are losing the ability to see health, vibrancy, wisdom and experience in a face but rather things to correct, imperfections, and recent work done.
We are doing too much, over analyzing, nit picking and forcing our faces things that nature did not design. As a skin care practitioner of 3 decades, I am expected to be the guide to all the new trends, the new solutions, your guide to the perfect face…. But I’m here to tell you, it’s not sustainable, it’s harmful, you are causing irreparable damage, and killing your soul.
Follow along this summer as we dive into the real path to skin success. The sustainable and safe way to age with grace and wisdom, to put your best face forward and repair the inner trashing of our self esteem and confidence.

☀️ Hoping everyone had a safe and relaxing long weekend! This kicks us off into the summer season and with that brings new schedules for some! Please take a peek at your baseball commitments, kids grads and school trips, family vacations and time off. I can accommodate many appointment swaps with enough notice so cancellations can be avoided. Also, we have many chomping at the bit on our waitlist to get in so if you know your appointment is just not possible, it would provide an opportunity for someone else. For Mother’s Day this year, I enjoyed a calm peace in the spa that I often don’t get to just revel in. It was nice to play with furniture and prep our new styling station for Kronä & Öster Snö Experiences. There’s a fresh vibe in here… goodbye winter, bring on the new seasons!

Gratitude Post! April 26 of 2024 we hit 300 individual visitors who received services in the new Lakehouse location. Here we are exactly 2 years later and I am so proud to announce that we climbed to 450 service recipients! I want to thank everyone for putting your trust in us and being a part of the inspiration for the EVōLUTION of the Olive Stone over these past 4 years.
