Two more weeks until registration closes for our 6 week Yoga Therapy Fall Prevention Series!
This 6-week Yoga Therapy series is designed to support students in improving balance, building functional strength, and increasing body awareness to help reduce the risk of falls. The program takes a progressive, educational approach, guiding participants step-by-step from developing awareness of their body in space to building strength, stability, and confidence in movement.
Each 80-minute class combines gentle, accessible yoga-based movement with breathwork, balance training, and guided awareness practices. The series focuses on real-life movement patterns such as standing, walking, and transitioning in and out of a chair, making it highly practical and applicable to daily life.
Students will learn how to:
✔️Improve proprioception (awareness of body position)
✔️Develop strength in the feet, legs, hips, and core
✔️Enhance balance and coordination
✔️Maintain stability during dynamic movement
✔️Build confidence and reduce fear around falling
Classes are small and supportive, with options for all levels. Props such as chairs, blocks, straps, and the wall are incorporated to ensure safety and accessibility.
This series is ideal for older adults, individuals returning to movement after injury, or anyone looking to improve balance, stability, and confidence in their body.
