Big feelings can be hard for little ones to understand…and even harder to put into words.
Heart to Art is a 5-week therapeutic art group designed for children ages 4–6 and a parent or caregiver, where art becomes a playful and creative way to explore emotions, build communication skills, and strengthen the parent-child connection.

Led by Janet De Gazon, Registered Psychotherapist, Child and Youth Worker & Art Therapy Student, each session provides a safe, supportive environment where children and caregivers can:

🎨 Explore and recognize different emotions
💬 Build emotional literacy and learn to name feelings
🧠 Develop age-appropriate strategies for expressing and managing emotions
❤️ Strengthen communication and connection between children and caregivers
🌱 Better understand and respond to your child’s emotional needs
✨ Create meaningful moments

📅 Group Details

Ages: 4–6 years + 1 caregiver
Dates: September 24 – October 22
Day: Thursdays
Time: 6:00–7:00 PM
Duration: 5 weekly sessions
Cost: $600 total ($120/session for one child + one caregiver)
*A receipt will list both participants and may be reimbursable through insurance coverage for group therapy. We recommend checking with your insurance provider beforehand to confirm your specific coverage.
