We are so thrilled to introduce Stephanie, our newest Registered Nurse joining our foot care team!

Stephanie brings nearly 8 years of nursing experience across a wide range of clinical settings, and she's no stranger to foot care, it's actually where her nursing journey began, working in foot care and long-term care in Northern Ontario.

But here's something extra special....Stephanie is bilingual! 🌟 We are so excited to be able to offer care to an even wider range of clients because of this incredible asset.

As foot care is an ever-evolving specialty, Stephanie is currently completing a refresher specifically in foot care to ensure her knowledge and skills are fully aligned with the most current standards and best practices. Her background also spans pediatrics, the NICU, and nursing education, so she brings a wealth of knowledge and heart to everything she does.

When she's not caring for her clients, you'll find Stephanie out in nature with her kids and fur baby; camping, fishing, hunting, hitting the trails, or on the baseball diamond. ⛺🎣⚾

🩺✨ Exciting news.....I am beyond thrilled to officially announce that I have joined the AFCN Learning Institute as a Clinical Partner and Clinical Educator!

This journey has been anything but linear, and honestly, that's what makes it so meaningful. From 10 years as a paramedic, to earning my BScN and working in a fast-paced cardiac unit, to launching Tenderfeet Foot Care right here in Embrun, Ontario, every step has led me to this moment. Foot care nursing found me at the perfect time, and it has given me something truly special: a way to combine my love of patient care, clinical practice, and entrepreneurship all in one.

Now, I get to add something new to that list....teaching. 💛

Partnering with AFCN means so much to me because I believe deeply in this profession and in the nurses who are stepping into it. I can't wait to continue growing in the foot care nursing space and to help the next generation of foot care nurses build their confidence, find their footing (pun intended 😄), and discover just how rewarding this path can be.
