We have done xray, catheter and iv blood work, they have confirmed aspiration pneumonia and I guess she also has a uti. We will be admitted for iv antibiotics but unsure for how long!!

Mack was out of surgery around 12:30, she is still sleeping and has an oral trumpet and nasal trumpet in place. Dr. Stry...

Mack was out of surgery around 12:30, she is still sleeping and has an oral trumpet and nasal trumpet in place. Dr. Strychowski said she did really well and the only concern was Dr. Bax did his scope and noticed lot of inflammation and with the cleft repair we need to try to prevent the reflux because if she vomits it puts her at high risk for not only infection but also tearing and bleeding. Dr. Strychowski started her on azithromizen to prevent infection and Dr. Baxput her on a strong reflux medication to help but said he will be back tomorrow with a rescue plan. I guess we stay in icu for the night so I'm unable to make any video calls at this time!! Thank you everyone for your support and prayers!!

Now we wait!! Mack surgery runs from 10 to 1pm and then we will go to icu because of her complexity. Once out of the icu...

Now we wait!! Mack surgery runs from 10 to 1pm and then we will go to icu because of her complexity. Once out of the icu we will be taken to our room on the 6th floor.
