A new chapter is unfolding.

After a lot of reflection (and a recent trip to Edmonton that made everything feel very real), I’ll officially be relocating to Edmonton in June.

This decision has come with a mix of emotions - excitement, uncertainty, gratitude, and trust, but deep down, I know it’s time for a fresh start and a new season of growth.

To everyone who has attended a Breathwork session, supported me, shared kind words, brought friends, or simply followed along on this journey here in BC… thank you. Truly.

Before I go, I have one final Breathwork session remaining at Inspire Women’s Fitness:

✨ Thursday, May 14
🕰 7:00–8:15pm
💰 $35
📍 Inspire Women’s Fitness

I would absolutely love to share this final evening in the space with you.

And for my Edmonton people - I’ll be bringing Breathwork with me. More to come soon.

Inside Breathwork Series | Part 9: When This Class is NOT the Right Fit

This work isn’t about pushing harder or bypassing your feelings.

It’s about listening, regulating, and learning to be with yourself… even when it’s uncomfortable.
If that resonates, you’ll likely feel at home here.

Because this is a physiologically activating practice, there are times when group breathwork isn’t appropriate.

This class is not advised if you are pregnant, or if you have certain respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, kidney, metabolic, or eye conditions, a severe mental illness, or a recent surgery or injury.

Your safety matters deeply to me.

If you’re unsure whether this class is right for you, please reach out before booking - I’m always happy to help you decide what’s best for your body and nervous system.

Sometimes the most empowered choice is waiting, or speaking with your doctor first.

You can learn more or book via the link in my bio.
My full waiver, including contraindications, is also linked there.

This wraps up the Inside Breathwork Series - thank you for being here.
If you’ve been watching along and feel called to experience it, you’re welcome anytime.

Inside Breathwork Series | Part 8: Is this Breathwork Class for You?

This work often resonates with people who are on a journey of getting to know themselves more deeply. Those who value their overall health and wellbeing, and understand that nervous system care supports a more grounded, fulfilling life.

From a practical perspective, this class tends to support adults (18+) who are feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in their head - and who are curious about a body-based way to regulate their nervous system.

Many clients have shared they live with:
• anxiety or overwhelm
• OCD or ADHD
• grief, depression, or emotional fatigue
• stress-related health challenges

You don’t need prior experience with breathwork.
You don’t need to “do it right.”

Just a willingness to be present with yourself.

This work meets you where you are. You choose your depth, your pace, and your level of engagement. Even staying close to the surface can support calm, clarity, and a lighter stress load.

This is a supportive, guided, and grounded space. There’s no pressure to perform… you are always in charge, and your body knows best.

In the final reel of this series, Part 9, I’ll share when this class may not be the right fit.
Spoiler: it’s not for everyone.

Inside Breathwork Series | Part 7: Why this Strengthens Your Nervous System

I like to think of this work as nervous system training.

Some sessions intentionally create challenge… quicker breathing, breath holds, strong sensation.

Not to overwhelm you, but to practice staying present and breathing through discomfort… and then coming back to regulation.

Over time, your system learns:
• I can do difficult things
• I am safe
• I can return to calm

Other sessions move slowly and gently, helping your body remember what true regulation actually feels like… so you can recognize more quickly when you’re out of balance in everyday life.

Weekly classes run Thursdays at 7pm at Inspire Women’s Fitness in Fort Langley.

In Part 8, I’ll talk about who tends to benefit most from this work.

And I’ll wrap up the series in Part 9 by sharing when this class may not be the right fit.

Inside Breathwork Series | Part 6: Is it Normal to Cry in Breathwork?

Every session is unique. Your body, your experiences, and your current state all influence what comes up - and what happens one time may not happen the same way the next. That’s why it’s important to leave expectations at the door and allow your body to process what it needs, in its own time.

Breathwork works with the body - and the body stores emotion. It’s common for tears, laughter, anger, or deep relief to surface, but it’s equally valid if your session brings clarity, calm, or presence instead. This isn’t about forcing anything… it’s about creating a safe container where your system can release and reset.

Breathwork meets you where you are… exactly what your body and nervous system need will happen naturally.

Inside Breathwork Series | Part 5: Why We Use Music + Rhythm

The nervous system responds powerfully to rhythm - which is why music is woven through the entire session, from the initial shaking and stomping, through the breathwork, and into the guided integration at the end.

During breathwork, the beat guides the breath, helping your body bypass overthinking and drop into a deeper, more intuitive state.

When we move into guided integration, the music shifts: it softens, slows, and becomes more emotion inducing - coaxing release, reflection, and deeper connection.

You don’t have to “try.”
The rhythm and the energy of the music carry you.

Curious to experience it?
Classes run Thursdays at 7pm at Inspire Women’s Fitness in Fort Langley.

In Part 6, I’ll answer a burning question: Is it normal to cry in Breathwork?
