My approach to massage is to incorporate the full body in a treatment and target problem areas using a wide variety of techniques and working within each individuals comfort level. e as part of your ongoing care, as well as additional information on how to take care of your mind and body between sessions at the clinic. I now offer Jade Stone massage, which is a lovely yet very effective variation of the familiar hot stone massage that is available at most clinics. I am also certified and insured to perform fire cupping, a deeply effective method for improving the health of your tissues and for achieving greater results during a treatment. I have a keen interest in pre/post natal massage and take pride in creating a calm environment for the expectant mother while providing an effective and satisfying massage. With open communication we can customize your treatment to address the muscles that are tired and sore from bearing the additional strain of your changing body! I am a graduate of the 2200 hour diploma program at MH Vicars School of Massage in Edmonton and am a current member in good standing with the RMTA (Remedial Massage Therapists Association). My receipts are recognized by all insurance providers and the clinic does direct billing to Blue Cross. I highly recommend checking with your insurance provider for exact amounts that are covered for massage and accupuncture, and the details of any additional "health spending account" you may have access to. This information is helpful in planning out your treatment plan for the year to optimize not only your medical benefits, but also optimize the results of your massage treatments and the self-care in-between appointments.
