Melanoma doesn’t always show up where you expect it to. It can appear in areas that rarely burn, stay covered by clothing, or seem “fine” for years before changing.
If you notice:
• a new spot that looks unusual
• a mole changing in size, shape, or colour
• itching, bleeding, scabbing, or a spot that won’t heal
…it’s worth getting checked.
Because skin cancer isn’t always about one bad sunburn.
It’s often the result of years of cumulative exposure, damage, and delayed attention.
Early detection matters. Not panic. Not fear. Just paying attention to your skin and taking changes seriously.
This Melanoma Awareness Month, consider this your reminder to stop brushing things off “until it gets worse.” 🤍
