"What do you do for a living?"

Mostly, I massage horses until they make this face. 😂

All jokes aside, helping horses move better and feel their best is one of the best parts of my job.

I'd say this little mare was pretty satisfied with her session. 🐴

📅 June Availability

June came flying out of the gate over here! Between the Aurora show and a trip down to Calgary for my regular rounds, it's been a busy start to the month.

I'll be kicking around locally for the next few weeks, seeing horses and working on embroidery projects, so now is a great time to get on the schedule.

New horses are always welcome! I've also had a few people ask whether first-time bodywork sessions cost more, and I can happily say the answer is no. My rate remains $85 per horse, whether it's your horse's first session or their fiftieth.

For appointments more than 30 km away, travel is split between clients whenever possible to help keep costs reasonable for everyone.

If you have any questions or would like to book, feel free to send me a message. 🐴❤️

I'm hard-pressed to find another place where I'm this happy, with friends, laughter, and horses. ❤️

While I was hoping to have Horatio entered for the horse show, being here as a cheerleader is just as rewarding. (And I get to enjoy a sleep-in with no chores 😉.)

I also had the opportunity to work on some of my favourite equine butts (10/10 bombastic side eye from general on the hind end work 😅) Just helping keep everyone comfortable and performing their best for the rest of the weekend.

Wishing all competitors and their horses a fantastic remainder of the show! 🐴✨

Also ! Feeling pretty proud to have my own banner on the sponsor wall ! Hey look ma I made it !

Reille is absolutely amazing at what she does! She takes the time to work with each horse individually, explaining clearly what she finds and providing helpful exercises and recommendations to continue their progress between sessions.

Our horses absolutely love their appointments with her, and we’ve now put them on a regular maintenance schedule every six weeks. The difference has been incredible — they’re happier, more comfortable, and performing at their best.

We’re so grateful to have someone as talented, knowledgeable, and dedicated helping care for our horses. We highly recommend Reille to anyone looking to support their horse’s health, comfort, and overall performance!

🌧️ Happy soggy Sunday! The rain is definitely needed, but wow has it turned chilly.

My first stop today comes with a bonus ! Toasty warm solariums to help dry horses off before their sessions and keep everyone comfortable.

A little reminder during our rainy season: wet horses don't release tension nearly as well as warm, dry horses. For the best results from your bodywork session, having your horse dry before I arrive makes a big difference.

If you have an upcoming appointment and rain is in the forecast, blanketing your horse (when appropriate) and keeping them as dry as possible before and after their session will help you get the most value from your treatment.

Here's hoping everyone stays warm, dry, and mud-free today! ☔🐴😊

“FAQ: We don’t show, we just pleasure/trail ride. Does my horse still need bodywork? How often?”

Absolutely 😊

You don’t need to be hauling every weekend or jumping big courses for your horse to benefit from bodywork. Trail horses, pleasure horses, pasture pets and lightly ridden horses still develop tension, compensation patterns and soreness just like performance horses do.

Things like:
-uneven footing on trails
-slips, trips and pasture antics
-saddle fit
-aging bodies
-stiffness from downtime
-compensation from old injuries
…all add up over time.

As for frequency, every horse is different. Some horses do great on seasonal maintenance appointments (spring / summer / fall) , while others in harder work, older horses or horses with ongoing issues benefit from more regular sessions (every 6 - 8 weeks).

My goal is always to keep horses comfortable, moving well and feeling their best, no matter their job title 💛

Well today I finally took some of my own advice and did some ground pole work with Horatio. Big brain day… can you tell by his face? 🤣 but here he is absolutely killin it at the pole straddle exercise.

Pole straddles and ground pole exercises are sooo good for body awareness and proprioception. They encourage thoughtful foot placement, help with balance, coordination, core engagement and getting that body-brain connection working better together.

They’re also great for improving mobility, topline strength and helping horses slow down and think about where all 4 feet are going.

Simple exercises, but super beneficial for so many horses 🐴

Good morning all 🌞

I realized I haven’t posted a schedule update in a hot minute! April was absolutely jam packed, and somehow May is already almost over… how crazy is that?!

Over the next week I’ll mostly be floating around my home areas. Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, and Ardrossan but I do have regular rotations on the west side and north side of Edmonton now as well.

So if you’ve ever wondered if I’ll travel to you, it never hurts to ask 😊

Sessions are still $85 + gst per horse no travel charge within 30kms.

A photo speaks a thousand words ✨

This sweet little mare had her first bodywork session with me today and the sleepy eyes and floppy ears told the whole story.

I’m still amazed at how much tension through the poll, jaw, and hyoid can impact the entire body. When those areas start to release, everything else can soften too.

Looking forward to helping this girl feel her absolute best so she can enjoy these beautiful sunny day rides ahead ☀️🐴

The countdown is ON, we’re just days away from Spring Fling 🎉

I’ll be at the show starting Thursday offering bodywork sessions throughout the weekend. If you want your horse feeling loose, comfortable, and ready to perform, now’s the time to get on the list.

Show sessions focus on light, targeted work to keep them moving their best during the weekend (save the big changes for home).

Spots are limited, message me to book!

Let’s horse show 😎
