Easter Seals New Brunswick

Easter Seals New Brunswick A charitable organization providing programs and services to persons living with disabilities in NB This is through our PSP Program.

Easter Seals New Brunswick's (also known & registered as the Canadian Rehabilitation Council for the Disabled) Branch was incorporated on December 23, 1966 & has a long history of helping persons with disabilities within the Province of New Brunswick. We provide many services for people all over the province:

• We provide & maintain equipment for people with physical disabilities (walkers, wheel

chairs, etc.). We loan (on average) 5,000 pieces of equipment per year to people in need.

• We receive used adaptive equipment; sanitize it & recycle it, allowing for it to be used by other clients. This is through our AT Loan Program.

• We provide, maintain, & service the assistive technology in schools in both languages for the Department of Education & Early Childhood. This is through our PETL AT Program.

• We give adults & children with disabilities the opportunity to experience the outdoors at Camp Rotary in Grand Lake. We welcome an average of 425-430 campers per year and hire over 40 students.

• We give children with disabilities the opportunity to play accessible sports such as wheelchair basketball, archery, curling, skiing, & sledge hockey through our Abilities program.

Today, we remember and honour our dear friend Randy Dickinson — affectionately known around Camp Rotary as “Legend.” 💙

Randy dedicated his life to advocating for the disability community in New Brunswick and made a lasting impact through his leadership with Easter Seals New Brunswick, Camp Rotary, the Premier’s Council on Disabilities, the N.B. Human Rights Commission, and many other roles of service.

Camp Rotary always held a special place in Randy’s heart. He often spoke about how camp shaped the person he became, and his generosity and support for ESNB never wavered. Whether it was offering guidance, lending a hand, or arriving with bags of treats for campers and staff, Randy’s kindness touched so many lives.

We are deeply grateful for everything Randy gave to our community. His legacy of advocacy, compassion, and friendship will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with Randy’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he impacted. 💙
