DR LAURA BRADEN ➡️ The heart behind Nor'East Apothecary.

Before launching Nor'East Apothecary in 2021, Laura spent nearly 20 years in academia and scientific research, building a strong foundation in science, health, and evidence-based learning.

But she is more than a scientist.

She is also a mother, a homeschooler, a farmer, a forager, and someone deeply passionate about helping families make informed choices about their health and wellness.

FROM LAB TO LAND

What began as a personal interest in natural health quickly grew into a mission - to know exactly what was going into and onto her family's bodies.

That curiosity led her back to the land, to traditional herbal wisdom, and ultimately to the creation of Nor'East Apothecary.

GROWN WITH PURPOSE

Today, Laura and her small but mighty team cultivate medicinal mushrooms, grow organic herbs, ethically forage local plants, and handcraft wellness products right here in Eastern Prince Edward Island.

From Lion's Mane and Reishi to Calendula and Plantain, many of the ingredients used in Nor'East Apothecary products are grown, cultivated, or foraged locally.
