Nothing sparks growth than trying new things, even if the experience induces frustration or even a little anxiety. This too shall pass which is also growth. Give some of these a try, add your own flavour to the ideas, and embrace the gorgeous month of October!

Routine is important, and a strong routine can help our weeks run more smoothly. However, it’s okay to feel uninspired some days if things are always the same. That’s when trying something new can make a difference.

You don’t have to make big changes. Just mix up your routine with some simple ideas, puzzles, fun activities, and going to different places.

Use the October challenge to keep your days interesting. You don’t have to do them all. Just use the calendar on days you feel like you need it.

Sometimes we need to take a moment, or a few, to take a breath, take a break from being productive, from making decisions or even from doing "the work" . A moment of grace.

September has arrived! Sharing these quick little positive mindset journal prompts as we enter the -ber months.

You can be done in under a minute every day with our September positive thoughts journaling. This simple activity is all about perspective.

Just finish each sentence in a positive way. That’s all you have to do. Keep the calendar, some paper, and a pen on your nightstand, and make it the first thing you do every morning.

Perspective can change our outlook on an idea day. Even on long, tiring days, by looking for the positives, we can bring positivity, joy, and optimism to our days.

We hope you find this type of journaling really useful.

Given space, those wings will show themselves and surprise you with the places they will take you. It does take courage, but that stuff is free!!!

Maybe you’re not lost. Maybe you’re still learning what you’re capable of. 🫶

As a therapist in training, one of my areas of focus is sleep. While CBT-i (insomnia) is on my list of trainings to accomplish this year, I want to also highlight the benefits of reiki on sleep. I use self-Reiki nearly every night to settle my self into la-la land and, often, clients have messaged me the day after a reiki session to tell me what a wonderful sleep they had that night.
If you are struggling with your sleep, maybe give reiki a try!

Stressed and having trouble sleeping? Consider trying a healing Reiki treatment.

As many of you are aware, I've been embarking on a transformative journey to become a social worker over the past two years. With graduation fast approaching, change is in the air.

As of the first of June, I will be saying good bye to the incredible Comfort Counselling team. This transition is filled with a mix of joy and nostalgia. It's here that I've re-discovered my passion for real-time human service while gaining invaluable experience and mentorship.

I'm forever grateful for the love and support that has empowered me to take this leap.

My intention is to integrate reiki with my soon-to-be social work practice in a new space. For now, I am taking a break to allow for celebration and integration.

Stay tuned for my new address. In the meantime, may you be happy, may you be healthy, may you have peace, and may you be loved.
