🧠⚡ ASH vs ADHD: Saturday Day 1 ⚡🧠

Okay… this is your sign that sometimes you don’t need a perfect plan… you just need someone who knows you well enough to step in 💛

This morning I was fully stuck in ADHD paralysis. Not lazy. Not unmotivated. Just… overwhelmed to the point where I couldn’t even figure out where to start.

And my house? Yeah… it was reflecting that 🙃

Enter: one of my favourite humans 💛
Who knows me well enough to see it before I even say it… and offered me 2 hours of her time to help kick me into gear. No judgment. No pressure. Just showed up.

And something clicked.

She took over my living room and even tackled my cat litter closet (hero status honestly 😅) while I went full chaos mode on: 🍽️ kitchen table 🧽 counters 🔥 stove
🍴 dishes oh and parenting lol

And here’s the thing…
It wasn’t about splitting the work.

It was about NOT doing it alone.

That ADHD “I don’t know where to start so I do nothing” feeling? It just… broke.

Fast forward to tonight… and somehow this is what I managed to check off ✔️ She light the fire! 🔥
Is my house perfect? Absolutely not.
Is it better? 1000% yes.

Sometimes the win isn’t doing everything.

It’s just getting unstuck.

So yeah…

ADHD: still loud… but we made progress today

🧠🐶✨ ADHD DECLUTTER WEEKEND… but make it MOM LIFE CHAOS ✨🐶🧠

Between kids, work, and a land shark puppy named Torch… my house said “good luck girl” 😅

So instead of trying to “clean everything” (lol no), I made a BINGO game out of it.

Because apparently I need to trick my brain into doing basic life tasks 🤷‍♀️😂



🎯 HOW THIS CHAOS GAME WORKS:
✔ Each square = 10–15 minute speed clean
✔ Set a timer and pick a square
✔ Get 5 in a row = BINGO 🎉
✔ Try for 2… or go full chaos and aim for blackout 😅



⏱️ REALISTIC GAME PLAN (so I don’t quit by noon on Saturday):

🗓️ Saturday: 6–8 rounds total
🗓️ Sunday: 4–6 rounds total

💡 Spread out during the day… aka doable with kids + puppy chaos



🧺 DECLUTTER RULES:
➡️ Keep
➡️ Donate
➡️ Trash

🚫 No organizing
🚫 No “I’ll deal with this later” piles



🐶 BONUS PUPPY MODE:
Anything left on the floor = now belongs to the puppy! 💀



If your house feels overwhelming right now—same. So instead of “cleaning the whole house”… I’m just playing a game.

🚿🐿️ ASH vs ADHD: Wash Work Down the Drain Edition

You know that moment when you walk in the door and your brain is still in meeting mode… Replaying conversations. Solving problems that aren’t yours. Opening 47 imaginary tabs…. Yeah. SAME. 🙃

So I am trying something new over here this week 👇

When I arrive home from work:
👉 Step 1: Take the squirrel (aka me) + dog outside
👉 Step 2: Feed the dog
👉 Step 3: Get in the shower
👉 Step 4: Wash the emails, deadlines, and “not my problem right now” thoughts go straight down the drain 🚿

Because apparently… we are allowed to stop carrying work into our homes. WHO KNEW?! 😂

Today’s reminder from your friendly neighborhood ADHD squirrel:
👉 If your brain tries to bring work back into the shower with you…

we rinse it again.

No shame. Just soap. 🫧😂

Because truthfully…
I don’t love leaving home.
I don’t love breaking routine.

But having systems in place?
That changes everything ✨

No chaos. No panic.
Just trusting the checklist and going.

Everything has a “bag”, a purpose, a system!

6 bags for 6 very specific categories.

The best is the Pink bookbag of random lego pieces = elite parenting strategy! The army camo bag has board games and colouring supplies. Other parents will thank me for packing this bag 😉

That’s why so many of us got labeled with anxiety disorders for years before finding out it was ADHD all along.
