We take legitimate criticism seriously, but we also believe reviews should accurately represent what occurred.
The statements made in this review are not an accurate representation of our studio or the circumstances surrounding this situation.
Regarding the claim that a tattoo was “not finished,” there is important context being left out. We have never intentionally abandoned a client’s tattoo or refused to complete agreed-upon work without reason. If an appointment, continuation, or completion could not proceed, there were circumstances surrounding that which this review does not disclose.
The accusation that our studio is “dirty” is also something we take extremely seriously. Distorted Visions Tattoo follows professional sanitation, disinfection, and cross-contamination procedures. Making a public allegation regarding the cleanliness of a tattoo studio is a serious claim, and we stand behind the standards maintained in our workspace.
As for our artists being “inexperienced,” experience and artistic ability are visible in the work we produce. Clients are always welcome to review an artist’s portfolio before choosing to book.
We respect anyone’s right to share an honest experience—even when that experience is negative. What we will not do is publicly argue, insult anyone, or disclose private client information simply to defend ourselves.
However, we will correct statements that we believe are false or misleading.
Anyone considering Distorted Visions Tattoo is welcome to visit the studio, view our artists’ work, ask questions about our procedures, and form their own opinion based on what they actually see and experience.
