FYI: if you can’t make it to the market from 10-2pm you can still enjoy delicious goodies from our cafe due to our NEW extended weekend hours! Our staff will be there serving you from 9am - 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays so you can enjoy the park any time during the day 🙂

Today, we join so many others in mourning the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Wendy Houlihan.

Over the years, Wendy became much more than a counterpart in the healthcare foundation world. She was a mentor, a collaborator, a trusted sounding board, and a friend to so many of us. Her passion, creativity, positivity, and unwavering dedication to her work were inspiring, but it was her kindness that truly set her apart. Wendy had a remarkable gift for making people feel valued, supported, and capable.

We are especially grateful to have shared time with her just this past Monday evening following our Foundation Summit—to share a drink, a laugh, a hug, and enjoy her company one last time. Those moments are memories we will cherish forever.

On behalf of Courtney, Danielle, and all of Wendy's former colleagues and friends at the Central Northeast Health Foundation, we extend our deepest condolences to her husband, Max, her mom, her sister, her nieces, her office family, Jenna and Lisa, and everyone whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity.

Wendy's impact on our organization, our work, and our hearts will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever appreciated. ❤️

Rest easy, Wendy. Thank you for everything.

Now that our 50/50 fundraiser has wrapped up and a winner has been announced (Congratulations to Brandon Morgan, ticket #1511, winner of $1,720), we're excited to launch our next fundraising initiative in support of the purchase of a new wheelchair accessible patient transport van for our region.

Thanks to the generosity of PAL Airlines , Canadian Tire, and Adam Young - Young Studios, we have several fantastic prizes available to be won!

Tickets are $5 each, and all proceeds will go directly toward the purchase of the new transport van, helping ensure patients throughout our region have access to safe and reliable transportation for healthcare appointments.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Central Northeast Health Foundation office at JPMRHC (across from the cafeteria). We accept CASH, CREDIT or DEBIT in office. *ETRANSFER IS NOT ACCEPTED DUE TO LOTTERY LICENSE REGULATIONS.*

They will also be available at Bell Place, Gander Long Term Care (GAL), and Lakeside Homes in Gander.

Thank you to all who purchased tickets for our 50/50 fundraiser in support of a new Wheelchair Accessible Patient Transport Van - a total amount of $3,440 was collected, and the winners share is $1,720.
