A new face is joining us on Saturdays! 🤍

We’re excited to welcome Patty, Registered Massage Therapist, to the Maitland Valley Wellness team.

With a background in healthcare and fitness, Patty brings a warm, individualized approach to treatment, with a focus on helping clients reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, relax and feel better in their day-to-day lives.

And the part we’re especially excited about? More Saturday massage availability.

Patty will be seeing clients every Saturday beginning September 19, making it a little easier to fit massage therapy into busy schedules and improving weekend access to care in our community.

Want to meet Patty a little sooner?
She’ll be spending Friday, September 18 getting familiar with the clinic, our systems and the flow of the space — and we’ve opened a few appointments that afternoon so she can ease into her new surroundings while our team is here alongside her.

Her Friday openings and regular Saturday schedule are now open for online booking.

Welcome to the team, Patty!

I think a lot of us get really good at carrying things.

The schedules. The responsibilities. The mental lists. The people who need us. The things that still need to get done.

And when it starts to feel like too much, we often tell ourselves we need to get better at managing it.

Be more organized. More resilient. Less stressed.

But sometimes the answer isn’t becoming better at carrying more.

Sometimes our bodies need somewhere to put some of it down.

Movement. Quiet. Time outside. A conversation. Treatment. Rest. Whatever creates a little space between you and everything you’ve been holding.

Healthcare isn’t always about fixing something that’s wrong.

Sometimes it’s about creating enough space to feel like yourself again.

Everyone LOVES IT!!

It’s such a beautiful soft, refreshing scent. 💕

If you haven’t smelled it I encourage you to pop into the clinic and check it out. ❤️

Apparently the construction zone needed a little fall décor.

And because “please enter through the back to avoid wet cement” doesn’t exactly scream warm and inviting… we’ve assembled some fall planters to make your temporary entrance feel a little less scary.

We promise—it’s much cozier once you’re inside.

Phase 4, baby. Let’s do this!

If I’m being honest, I’ve been dreading this phase of construction since the day I learned it was coming.

So far, what I’ve realized is this: I spent months worrying about something I couldn’t control before I even knew what the reality would be.

That doesn’t mean construction hasn’t been hard. It has. Many businesses have faced real challenges because of it, and our downtown has had to adapt every step of the way.

But it has reminded me how often our minds write worst-case scenarios long before they’re needed.

Here’s to taking it one day at a time, supporting one another, and keeping the coffee brewing. Also- how ‘bout them new planters and the endless excavator entertainment? 😍
