A friendly reminder: The Goodsoil Clinic does not offer walk-in services.

When patients arrive without an appointment expecting to be seen, it can significantly disrupt the care of those who have scheduled appointments and impact our ability to provide timely, safe care for everyone.

If you need an appointment, please call the clinic. If no appointments are available, we can add your name to our cancellation list. While we do our best to accommodate cancellations, a same-day appointment cannot be guaranteed.

If your concern cannot wait:
• Visit a walk-in clinic in Meadow Lake or Cold Lake
• Call HealthLine 811 for advice on the most appropriate place to receive care
• If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

One of the biggest contributors to long wait times isn’t always a lack of appointments, it’s people accessing the wrong level of care for their needs.

Emergency departments, walk-in clinics, primary care providers, pharmacists, and HealthLine 811 each play a different role. Choosing the right option helps ensure resources are available for those who need them most and reduces wait times for everyone.

When non-urgent concerns are directed to emergency services, or routine issues that could be managed elsewhere take up limited appointments, it creates delays across the entire healthcare system.

Before seeking care, take a moment to consider the most appropriate option. A little planning can help improve access, reduce wait times, and ensure patients with urgent needs receive timely care.

The healthcare system works best when we all use it wisely. 💚

The Mobile Mammography Units bring BreastCheck screening mammograms closer to home.

Below are the lists of rural, remote and northern Saskatchewan communities the units visit.

Appointments for the Mobile Mammography Units can be made six weeks in advance of mobile visits.

→ You do not need a doctor's referral to make an appointment for a BreastCheck screening mammogram.

Visit the Government of Saskatchewan website at https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/health/diseases-and-conditions/lyme-disease to learn what to watch out for, and ways to protect yourself and family members.

Submit a photo of any ticks you find to https://www.etick.ca for identification which helps with provincial monitoring.
