Somatic Healing with Savanna Helping you resolve the inner Tug-of-War that is keeping you away from what you want in life.

My method of somatic healing is intended to offer a deeply personalized approach using intuitive insight that is grounded in knowledge. It is a powerful approach to healing that gets to the root cause with an almost unexpected simplicity and gentleness. Somatic healing addresses pain and discomfort in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms. My commitment is to work with you from a place of non-judgement, with a love and care that fosters an ability to find a path forward that is tailored to and intuitive for you. My hope is that alongside each other, you have an opportunity to deepen or reclaim the relationship you have with your own inner and innate wisdom.

There are four steps to healing:

1 Knowledge
2 Awareness
3 Understanding
4 Integration

Knowledge gives you information. Awareness asks you to look at yourself. And I mean really look at yourself. Radical self-awareness.

When you combine what you have learned with what you have seen in yourself, you gain understanding.

Then comes integration. This is where you take what you now understand and do your own work.

But healing is not linear. Sometimes you will need to go back, learn more, find another tool, and use it to integrate the understanding you have gained.

Returning to an earlier step does not mean you are going backwards. It is part of the process.

Fear has a purpose. It is meant to protect you when you are legitimately unsafe.

But many of us are living with fear that is no longer calibrated to reality. It has been shaped by past experiences, things that have happened to people we love, stories we have heard, and the noise we are constantly taking in.

When you are afraid of the future, you may resist making changes in the present. In trying to avoid the future you fear, you can also narrow the possibility of creating the future you desire.

Yes, making a change means that any outcome is possible. But that includes the outcomes you yearn for, the ones you desire, and the ones that feel beyond your dreams.

The question is not: How do I eliminate fear?

The question is: How do I calibrate my fear so that it is in alignment with reality? How do I separate what is truly unsafe from all the noise and fluff?

And how much more room would that leave for peace, joy, and play?

There are many ways to learn.

You can listen. You can watch. You can read about something and understand it intellectually.

But life can only be learned experientially.

You can listen to someone explain an experience, but it is not the same as living through it yourself. Life is one lesson, or maybe a million lessons, that we learn by experiencing them.

This is where triggers can become a gift or an opportunity.

When something triggers you, you are being given an experiential opportunity to see what still needs your attention and begin healing it. It may not feel like a gift in the moment, but it gives you the chance to learn something you could not have learned in quite the same way without experiencing it.

Life gives us opportunities to learn as we live it.

And that is kind of cool.

You know how fathers frequently mention that their kids “never take their advice”

I figured out why.

First thing is (but don’t tell the dad’s this) we do listen and it’s to a lot more of it than they
think…..eventually anyways.

Second thing is, we can’t listen to it all. We just can’t. Life and all the juiciness it has to offer can
only be truly, deeply learned by experiencing it.

No one can learn everything by being told. I know we learn a lot of things by being shown, by
watching and by being told but that is not the whole picture and it’s missing a big piece of the
puzzle.

If you truly don’t know what it feels like and what changes in and around you when you lose
something you love, get something you’ve always wanted, dream and fail, dream and succeed,
then you are missing out on a depth to the richness that life can provide.

Make sure you get out there and live your life and stop taking advice from people like me :)

Here’s the hard truth: You are responsible for your own healing.

You may not be responsible for the wound, but since you are the one carrying it, you are the only one who can heal it. I get it, that feels unfair.

Here’s the good news: You are capable of your own healing.
You just need to know how.
You need someone to show you, teach you and empower you.

Hello, my name is Savanna, and that is exactly what I am here to do.

I am really glad you are here.

Mania or manic energy has a charge or stigma when you read it or hear it

I want to change that.

Mania is a strong example of life force energy. At its best, it is creative, passionate, brilliant, colourful, inspirational, fun, flexible and powerful.

Most of us have only heard of it at its worst.

I want those of you who have mania in you to know that you can learn how to harness it, tether it and turn it into the magic that you are the magician of.

When life feels like it’s too much, the last thing you need is more stimulation.

Your phone has an appeal because it is infinite entertainment at your fingertips. Entertainment is a great way to get a break from it all, but your phone is never just entertainment.

It contains all of your life. Your connections or lack thereof and the emotional complexities around that, news of the entire world and its suffering, and SO MUCH MORE. It is a handheld ticking timebomb of emotions.

That’s why your handheld entertainment device never truly gives you the break you are seeking.

So if life feels like too much, put the phone down and instead do something that connects you back to yourself, gets you closer to living the life you want, whatever that is for you.

Will it solve everything? No.

Will you probably feel a little better? Yes.

Savanna 🖤

We all want to be liked. That’s okay. It feels good to be liked.

It is also easy to get caught up in.

This is especially true in cultures that pride themselves on being polite and nice, but more
importantly true when people don’t know self love to the depth required to withstand the
judgements and views of others.

The predicament is that the more you behave differently than your true nature to be liked, the
less you become loved for who you truly are, since that part of you is kept from the world
unseen to the human heart.

The person most important to like you, is actually you. You need to like how you show up, be
proud of who you are, like your own company and like how you engage with others and from
there it becomes quite easy for others to love you for who you are.

I have never wanted to be in the spotlight, even though my bright hair may suggest otherwise. I have never desired having the eyes and opinions of others on me, nor have I wanted to lose my privacy or sense of normalcy.

I have had to overcome huge obstacles over the past couple of decades to become comfortable on camera and on these modern platforms. The reason I have pushed myself to do so is because I believe everyone needs to know that they can heal and how they can do it.

So that’s what I’m here to do.
Hello, my name is Savanna. I am a healer, and I am here to share important wisdom with you in a bright and fun way.

We are all intricately unique. Our quirks, experiences, stories, thoughts, dreams and things that
make us feel. These are some of what makes us special. Let’s take note of them, recognize
them and embrace them.

But let’s not let them define us. Let’s not look for desperate ways to separate ourselves from the
crowd. Let’s not run too far into being unique and special, that we forget how much we are the
same.

Why?

Because deep down, we yearn to be included, to fit in. So, we need to rejoice just as much in
what we share: as humans who are all blindly trying to navigate this experience that is life.

We all love and lose. We all hurt and laugh. We all see beauty and cruelty. We all live and we all die.

We all have quirks, experiences, stories, thoughts, dreams and things that make us feel. ;)

Don’t let anything divide us in the ways we yearn to be united.

Savanna 🖤
