Unless you have literal doctor’s orders not to move (i.e., complete bed rest), you can do some form of exercise.
Chances are, the real problem isn’t your body—it’s your thinking about what exercise is or should be.
Because when movement can improve everything from mental health and heart health to cancer outcomes and the quality of your relationships—as well as reduce all-cause mortality—fighting for reasons not to engage is foolish.
We hear the arguments all the time:
Not enough time. Not enough money. Too self-conscious. This injury. That limitation.
But truly, none of them hold up.
If you’re not on bed rest and you can go about your day, you can—and should—move.
You don’t need a ton of time or money to start.
You don’t need a gym membership (though if you want one, we’ve got you 😉).
What you do need is belief:
• That you can.
• That more than nothing matters.
• That it all adds up.
• And that the second-best time to start is always today.
