🌸Everything to prepare you for sugar waxing 🌸
General Precautions:
Avoid touching the waxed area: This helps prevent infection and irritation.
Wear clean, loose-fitting clothes: This allows the skin to breathe and reduces friction, which can cause irritation.
Avoid scratching or rubbing the area: This can lead to ingrown hairs and further irritation.
Gently cleanse the area: Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser to avoid harsh chemicals.
Activities to Avoid:
Hot baths or showers: Hot water can irritate the skin, so stick to lukewarm water for the first 24-48 hours.
Saunas, hot tubs, or steam treatments: These can cause sweating and further irritate the skin.
Tanning: Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, or self-tanning products for at least 24-48 hours.
Exercise: Avoid strenuous workouts or activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 24-48 hours.
Swimming: Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools or the ocean for a few days.
Deodorant and body sprays: These can irritate the skin, so avoid using them on the waxed area for at least 24 hours.
Exfoliating: Avoid exfoliating the waxed area for a few days to allow the skin to heal.
Tight clothing: Avoid wearing tight clothing that can rub against the waxed area.
