After a lot of thought, Iāve made a decision that I never imagined I would have to make, Iām retiring from tattooing!
Once our little man makes his appearance, Iāll be stepping away from my tattoo career for the foreseeable future and closing this chapter of my life.
This means you still have time to book before I say my goodbyes!! So if youāve been wanting to book or have a gift card to use up, now is the time!!
Now onto the sappy stuff.
I donāt think Iāll ever have the right words to explain how much this career, and all of you, have meant to me. What started as a passion turned into something I was incredibly lucky to call my job. Iāve had the privilege of creating permanent pieces of art for so many amazing people, but more than that, Iāve gotten to know so many of you, hear your stories, celebrate your milestones, laugh with lots and cry with some, and best of all, Iāve made so many friends along the way.
Thank you to every person who ever booked with me, recommended me to a friend, supported my work, liked a post, shared my flash, or simply followed along. You helped make this career possible, and I will forever be grateful.
Tattooing has been such a huge part of who I am, and walking away from it is incredibly bittersweet and was such a difficult choice to make.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your skin, your stories, and your memories. Thank you for the coffees, the baked goods, the gifts and thank you for being some of the coolest people Iāll ever get the chance to meet. Iāll truly carry this chapter with me forever and cherish it forever.
Iām not sure if this will be goodbye forever or just until life becomes a bit more manageable once big man and his future sibling are older, so Iāll leave it at see you later.
