NOW without further ado… The announcement you’ve all been patiently waiting for!!..
I’m incredibly excited and proud to support Paige Lockton on a 1 year journey that will be turned into a documentary!! The project its self is called Project New Start.
This journey is about more than just a horse. It’s about healing, rebuilding, and creating a partnership between an off-the-track Standardbred and their human who both deserve a fresh start. It’s about giving them the time, support, and foundation to truly understand each other.
I’ve known Paige for the past 15 years (if not longer), and over the years she’s become someone I truly look up to—not just as a horsewoman, but as a mentor. Her knowledge, her feel, and the way she understands these incredible animals is something that has always pushed me to keep learning, to grow, and to step outside of my own comfort zone while trusting the process.
That’s exactly who she is—someone who never stops evolving, and who inspires others to do the same.
Project New Start is a reflection of that.
You may ask where do I fit in all of this?
Through PEMF treatments (Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy), my role is to support each horse’s overall wellness, recovery, and comfort. PEMF works at a cellular level to help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and encourage the body’s natural healing processes.
When working with a new horse, I focus on:
• Tension & soreness – Identifying areas of tightness or discomfort throughout the body
• Inflammation – Targeting areas that may be holding heat or swelling
• Mobility – Supporting joints and soft tissue to improve range of motion
• Recovery – Helping the body bounce back from stress, work, or past injuries
• Relaxation – Encouraging a calm, balanced nervous system
Each session is tailored to the horse’s individual needs, and together with Paige and her herd, we'll be creating a wellness plan that will be followed and documented over the next year showing the progress, the challenges, and the moments that make it all worth it.
It has been truly inspiring to witness our equine community come together to make this possible. Sometimes, all it takes is the right support system to begin—and to begin again.
