𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐚𝐩𝐧𝐞𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞?

Ray did.

When he was diagnosed with moderate to severe sleep apnea, he thought CPAP would be something he’d need forever.

But he hated it.

He struggled to keep it on at night.
He was exhausted.
His brain felt foggy.
His concentration was slipping.

As a business owner and avid runner, he knew this wasn’t the life he wanted.

So instead of accepting that this was just “how it is,” he decided to find out _why_ he had sleep apnea in the first place.

Today, Ray no longer sleeps with a CPAP.

His follow-up testing showed no sleep apnea when sleeping on his side and only a few events on his back.

More importantly...

He’s sleeping through the night.
Thinking clearly.
Feeling energized.
And back to doing the things he loves.

Too many people are told to manage their sleep apnea without ever being shown how to address the root causes.

If you’ve been told you’ll be on CPAP forever and that doesn’t sit right with you...

Has your child been diagnosed with ADHD?

What if that's not the whole story?

Many parents are surprised to learn that sleep apnea and sleep-disordered breathing in children can look a lot like ADHD.

Difficulty focusing.
Hyperactivity.
Impulsivity.
Emotional outbursts.
Struggles at school.

But here's what often gets missed...

How is your child sleeping?

Do they:

- Sleep with their mouth open?
- Snore?
- Grind their teeth?
- Toss and turn all night?
- Wake up tired despite a full night's sleep?

These can all be signs that your child is not breathing properly while they sleep.

And when a child's brain isn't getting the quality sleep it needs, behavior, focus, learning, and emotional regulation can all suffer.

Before assuming it's "just ADHD," make sure you've looked at their sleep.

If you answered yes to any of the signs above, let's get to the root cause.

Is Your Child at Risk for Sleep Apnea? Check This Before It’s Too Late.

One of the most frustrating things I hear from parents is:

“The dentist or primary care giver said they would grow out of it.”

No.

Children do not typically just “grow out of” mouth breathing, snoring, teeth grinding, or restless sleep.

These are not habits to ignore.

They are often signs that your child may be struggling to breathe properly during sleep.

And when sleep is affected, it can impact:

- Growth and development
- Behavior and attention
- Learning and school performance
- Mood and emotional regulation
- Overall health

The earlier these issues are identified, the easier they are to address.

If your child snores, breathes through their mouth, grinds their teeth, has dark circles under their eyes, or sleeps restlessly, don’t wait and hope they outgrow it.

Trust your instincts.

One of the saddest things I hear from people with sleep apnea is this:

“I know how serious it is… I just don’t know what to do about it.”

Because most people are told:
“We’ll monitor it.”
“Try your CPAP.”
“Come back later.”

Meanwhile, they’re still waking up exhausted.
Still struggling with brain fog.
Still relying on caffeine just to function.

And no one ever explains why it’s happening in the first place.

Here’s what I want you to know:

Sleep apnea is not the same for everyone.

For some people, the restriction is coming from the nose.
For others, it’s the tongue, jaw position, throat, posture, breathing mechanics, or nervous system.

This is why so many people feel frustrated trying to “fix” their sleep without real answers.

And it’s exactly why I created my 3-Step Sleep Assessment.

Because you deserve more than “we’ll monitor it.”

You deserve someone who looks at the whole picture and helps uncover what’s truly contributing to your poor sleep, exhaustion, and breathing struggles.

One of my clients said it best:
“Tierney doesn’t leave one stone unturned.”

If you’re tired of guessing and want real answers about your sleep…

You don’t need to treat your mild sleep apnea.

I hear this all the time.

Unfortunately this isn’t true as it can progressively get worse.

If you have sleep apnea, you probably already know how bad it is for you.

I am here to tell you that you can treat it now.

Is it Perimenopause… Sleep Apnea… or Both?

You’ve been feeling off lately.

The kind of exhaustion that coffee doesn’t touch.

The mood swings. The brain fog. The weight that just won’t budge — no matter what you eat or how much you work out.

You wake up drenched in sweat some nights.

Other nights, you can’t fall asleep at all.

And even when you do sleep, you wake up tired, foggy, and frustrated.

So what’s really going on here?

Take a guess 👇
Is it…
A) Perimenopause/Menopause
B) Sleep Apnea
C) Both

Here’s the answer: a lot of times, it’s both.

During perimenopause and menopause, hormonal shifts can narrow your airway and disrupt breathing at night — increasing your risk for sleep apnea.

And when your breathing isn’t smooth, your oxygen drops, your heart rate spikes, and your cortisol (stress hormone) surges.

That’s why so many women in midlife experience:
- Night sweats and insomnia
- Brain fog and forgetfulness
- Anxiety and mood swings
- Weight gain — even with healthy habits

It’s not “just hormones.”

The good news? Once you identify what’s really going on, everything changes — your energy, your focus, your mood, your body.

If you are wondering if you may have sleep apnea, DM me “Quiz” and I will send you a quiz to see if you are at risk for sleep apnea.

Better sleep. Better energy. Better you.

“It’s just hormones.”
“It’s all in your head.”

That’s what she was told… for years.

She struggled to fall asleep, to stay asleep, and as menopause set in, it only got worse.
Even on the rare nights she did sleep, she woke up completely exhausted — the kind of tired that coffee can’t touch.

She knew something wasn’t right.

But when she pushed for answers, she had to fight just to be taken seriously.

Eventually, she was diagnosed with sleep apnea.

And then came the next hurdle…
A CPAP she couldn’t tolerate.
Advice that amounted to: “Just keep trying.”

No support.
No alternatives.
No one really listening.

When she started working with me, the first thing that changed wasn’t her sleep…

It was this: she finally felt heard and understood.

We focused on her body, her symptoms, and what would actually work for her — not a one-size-fits-all solution.

After a couple of months, she shared something powerful:

For the first time in years, she’s starting to feel rested.

This is why I do this work.

Because so many women are told their exhaustion is “normal.”
That struggling through menopause is just something to accept.
That if CPAP doesn’t work, there are no other options.

That simply isn’t true.

You can sleep well again.
You can feel great again.
You just need the right guidance and support

If you can relate to Christina’s story, DM me “Sleep” to book your 3 Step Assessment so you can finally be heard and get the answers you need.

30-50% of people with sleep apnea also have insomnia.

Part of the reason this happens is because we get microarousals with sleep apnea which causes us to wake up even if we don't know it.

And we can get stuck in our flight and fight system which is the system where we want to run away from a lion.

And this makes it hard to get into deep and REM sleep as well as it makes us more prone to stress and anxiety.

That’s why most sleep apnea solutions -like the CPAP - are inefficient for actually fixing related sleep issues, like apnea.

It’s like putting a bandaid on a deep gash.

This is why you must treat the whole problem, which is why I use my WAKE UP RESTED 12-step process.

Comment or DM me "Quiz", maybe you will see what is causing it
