BREAKING: Democratic star Troy Jackson humiliates his MAGA opponent Susan Collins by inviting her to a town hall — and then staging an empty chair after she cowardly refused to attend.

If you can't defend your record, you shouldn't be in politics...

"Susan Collins has no idea what’s happening here in Maine. If she actually gave a damn about us, she wouldn’t have confirmed Brett Kavanaugh, handed ICE $70 billion, or greenlit tax breaks for billionaires like Elon Musk while cutting our health care," Jackson tweeted about the town hall.

His message at the event was laser-focused on the needs of the working class, offering a sharp contrast to the moderate-in-name-only Collins who has slavishly served the interests of the oligarchs and corporations for five terms straight. She hasn't held a town hall in over twenty years and Jackson skewered her for having "lost touch" with her constituents.

“There are more people out there looking for a better government than people who are holding us back,” Jackson told the packed room.

Unlike Republicans who are relying on inane culture war talking points this election cycle, Jackson was able to hammer away on the issues that really matter to voters. He mentioned the affordability crisis, the rising cost of housing and healthcare, as well as the Trump administration's all-out assault on reproductive rights.

That final point is an especially sore topic for Collins, because her craven decision to vote for accused sexual predator Brett Kavanaugh directly led to the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

“I see people standing up and fighting for a better government. It is time for a change," said Jackson.

Jackson also tore into Trump's Cabinet nominees, a rogues' gallery of criminals, fascists, morons, and pe*****le protectors, calling them "sycophants." He called for federal regulation of AI and proliferating surveillance technology and ripped into ICE for murdering innocent people.

He also discussed his ability to win back voters who were duped into voting for Trump, stating that while Democrats "have a lot of work to do to bring working-class people back into the fold," the first step is that you "have to be someone who gives a s**t about people.”

Clearly, Troy Jackson cares deeply about his home state. Meanwhile, Susan Collins only cares about entrenching her own power and enriching the already-wealthy.
