She attended Complections College of Makeup Art & Design (CMU) in Toronto in 2003. She learned under many esteemed artists including Emmy award winner Colin Penman. There she developed a strong foundation of makeup knowledge and her passion for all things beauty related grew. She continued to cultivate her love of makeup and the beauty industry in the years to come.
She worked for over 5 years
at MAC Cosmetics in Calgary, AB, has done makeup for many editorials, weddings, lessons and special occasions. She shifted her makeup focus to all things bridal in 2010. Since then her work has been featured in The Wedding Planner Magazine, Ruffled Blog, Vale & Vine, Magnolia Rouge, The Wedding Ring Magazine, Wedding Chicks and more. She is continuing to advance in her makeup knowledge and in 2017 was taught by Emmy award winner & New York Bridal Fashion Week Makeup Artist Kevin James Bennett and Founder and Director of MG Hair & Makeup & Knot Hall of Famer Megan Garmer.
In 2017 she trained under Pennylane Ritchie & Jade McAlpine - 2 of the industries leaders in permanent makeup through Beauty By Design Training Co.
In 2018 she expanded her knowledge of microblading and brows by taking 2 courses. The first focused on brow mapping with Jenn Boyd Ink and another with Boujee Brows/Minx Brows that also focused on mapping and shaping techniques as well as manual shading.
In 2019 she trained hands on with LA based makeup artist and photographer Jordan Liberty.
In August of 2021 Meghan trained with Lili Ma of Permanent Beauty by Lili. She learned her signature technique of nano brows as well as ombre shading.
In 2022 she made the heartbreaking decision to no longer to bridal makeup and focus solely on brow services.
