This work is about creating a space where the body can soften, the breath can deepen, and the nervous system can begin to settle.

A space to slow down, listen inward, and tend to yourself in a more intentional way.

Join me on Sunday, May 26th on Zoom for 60 minutes of gentle yoga, breathwork and Yoga Nidra - all from the comfort of your own home!

Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, induced by a guided meditation that will help prepare your mind and body to fall asleep and stay asleep with ease.

This virtual event will be the perfect way to wind down and release after a long day. No experience necessary - if you can breathe you can do yoga!

Come with your comfies and blankets on, clear your schedule for the rest of the night, to slowly start to make your descent to dreamland.

This is a free class! With 100% of optional donations going towards Women in Crisis, Guelph.

I am so pleased to be offering this partner workshop at Shift Yoga Collective!

Bring along your significant other, a friend or family member to share the gift of touch and aromatherapy, or even come solo to learn this ancient art and share in the good vibes. Settle in with gentle Yoga and breathing to centre the mind and body before exchanging a blissful Ayurvedic scalp and facial massage. Everyone will leave with a take home essential oil roll-on of their choosing.

Fee is $35 (including hst) per person for this 75 min workshop.

I am so happy to be sharing this newest Yoga offering with you! It has been sometime since I have taught a group class! (Just before Covid times I pressed pause on teaching to focus on building my RMT practice, so alot has changed since then and so have I!

This new class will reflect what I have most recently learned and integrated from my Yoga Therapy studies in India.

Viniyoga when translated means the appropriate application of Yoga suited to the individual. I will be sharing some of these principles and practices within a group setting, to which individuals can take home to practice at home or work.

All experience levels welcome!
Asking $20, but if cost becomes a barrier please reach out!

So looking forward to diving into this sonic experience with and this Saturday in Markdale! I have been waiting to do this for sometime now (since taking the intensive with him years back) and the right time has finally come!

Fall is a great time to start something new or to pick up old projects and put a new spin on them.

Introducing:
Strength and Vitality Ojas Bites

My new favourite energy balls! These littles bites pack a solid energy punch and are very nourishing for all the tissues of the body

Recipe shared by the lovely .ayurveda

(Makes 12, 1 inch bites)

Ingredients:
8 juicy dates, pitted

½ cup unsalted almond butter or sunflower seed butter

¼ cup maple syrup or brown rice syrup

2 tbsp ghee

½ tsp ground cinnamon

⅓ tsp ground cardamom

¼ tsp sea salt

4 cups rolled oats

For rolling:
2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

1 tbsp turmeric powder (optional)

1 tbsp dried crushed rose petals (optional)

Method:
In a food processor, pulse the dried dates until broken down into small chunks. 

Add nut butter, sweetener, ghee, spices and salt - blend until combined.

Add the rolled oats and shredded coconut.

Pulse again until fully incorporated.

Roll into 1 inch balls and place in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving. 

*Storage
Store in a sealed container in your fridge for up to 5 days.
