If you're looking for after-school and weekend supports for your child living with a developmental disability, Hopewell's Youth Connect programs offer opportunities to build friendships, develop life skills, and stay connected throughout the school year.

A welcoming space where youth can unwind after school, enjoy games and creative activities, and connect with friends in a fun, supportive environment.

Weekends filled with cooking and baking, crafts, games, community outings, and hands-on experiences that encourage confidence, independence, and connection.

Nothing beats time with family. ☀️

Krystyna is a familiar face around Hopewell, visiting her son Robert throughout the week and spending time together doing the things they enjoy.

On sunny days, that often means heading outside for some fresh air, listening to music and enjoying each other’s company. When the weather keeps them indoors, there’s always time to catch up in Robert’s room, where family photos beside his bed hold plenty of memories from over the years.

These everyday moments together are what make a place feel like home.

A well-deserved thank you for an incredible team member! 💙👏

Following this year’s Ariss Yard Sale, we had the opportunity to recognize Tam for the time, creativity and hard work she put into making the event happen.

From coming up with the idea to organizing the sale and coordinating everything on event day, Tam took the initiative and brought it all together with enthusiasm and care. The result was a wonderful day that brought our local community together in support of Hopewell.

Tam’s efforts are a great example of the passion and initiative our team members bring to Hopewell every day.

Learning, connection and a little celebration to finish it off! 👏 🎉

Recently, Hopewell Program Manager, Solomon Boadi, brought people together for an engaging in-house learning session focused on building knowledge, confidence and everyday well-being.

It was a great opportunity for people supported by Hopewell to ask questions, share ideas and learn together in a comfortable and supportive environment.

To celebrate everyone’s participation, Solomon presented each participant with a certificate at the end of the session. 🏆💙

A big thank you to Solomon for taking the initiative to share his knowledge in such a fun and engaging way—and congratulations to everyone who took part!

Moments like these reflect what we want to create at Hopewell: opportunities for people to learn, grow, connect and feel proud of their accomplishments.

A fresh coat of paint and a wonderful show of community support. 💙🏡

This week, a team from RBC joined us at one of Hopewell’s homes, rolling up their sleeves to help refresh the space with a fresh coat of paint.

The people we support take pride in the places they call home, and contributions like this help create welcoming, comfortable spaces that feel truly their own.

Visits like this are also a great opportunity for members of our community to learn more about Hopewell, connect with our work and see the impact that lending a hand can make.

Another SOLD sign. Another Hopewell home. More opportunities for a full life.

We’re excited to share that Hopewell has officially purchased Miller House!

This is about more than adding another property. It’s about creating another place where people can build a life of their own — with greater choice, independence, belonging and connection to their community.

There’s still work to do before Miller House is ready to welcome people home, and we’re excited to bring our community along for the journey.

What a day in Ariss! 😍

This past Saturday, our Ariss Yard Sale brought together great finds, creativity and plenty of community spirit. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to shop, connect and support Hopewell!

From discovering one-of-a-kind treasures to taking home original artwork created by our talented artists, it was wonderful to see the community come together. And it all makes a difference. Every purchase from the day helps us create more opportunities for the people we support to live full, meaningful lives.

We have three programs coming up this Fall, with something for different interests:

🥁 Drumming with Dez — Tuesdays starting September 1
💪 Fitness Your Way — Wednesdays starting September 2
🎨 Create & Connect — Mondays starting September 14

Whether you’re ready to get moving, find your rhythm, or spend some time getting creative, we’d love to have you join us.
