Poseidon and the Trident

Poseidon was not simply the God of the sea, he was the force beneath it, the storm, the earthquake, and the fury of nature that no mortal could command. In his hand was the Trident. Three-pronged and forged as a symbol of his dominion, the Trident was more than a mere weapon. With a single strike, Poseidon could split the earth, summon towering waves, stir violent storms, or make the ocean fall eerily still.
It represented the terrifying truth of his power: the sea could give life, but it could also take it without warning.
