STOP! 🛑 Go check your skincare/makeup/body products labels for any of these ingredients below!

I have been researching and learning about toxic chemicals in skincare, makeup, etc. I do not claim to be an expert and there is so much more to learn, but wanted to share this with you because I care about your wellbeing!

FYI, the EU has banned over 1300 chemicals, while the US has only banned 11. 😱 Also check and make sure you are not supporting a brand that is testing on animals (animal cruelty) if that matters to you!

Here are the top five chemicals that should be avoided in any skincare, makeup, body products, etc:

Parabens (methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben, anything ending in paraben). Mimics estrogen in the body, hormone altering effects, related to breast cancer

Ethanolamine( DTA, TEA, MEA) exposure to liver cancer, and pre-cancerous changes in thyroid and skin

Phalates (DBP, DEHP, DEP and others). Linked to birth defects, and cancer

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) Carcinogens

Formaldehyde Releasers (Quaternium, Diazolidinyl urea, DMD hydantoin) causes DNA damage and cancer.
