At Parkstone Enhanced Care, residents and team members explored that question through a Pride-themed collage activity. Using colours, images, and personal reflections, they expressed what makes them who they are while celebrating self-expression, belonging, and acceptance.

We’re proud to celebrate an exciting milestone in our investment in healthy aging research and education across Atlantic Canada. Dr. Nick Bray is the inaugural Shannex Research Chair in Aging Transitions at the School of Integrated Health. This is the first of three Shannex research chairs to be announced by our academic partners.

Congratulations to Dr. Bray and our partners at University of New Brunswick on this exciting announcement. Together, we are helping to shape a healthier future for people at all stages of their lives.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nick Bray as the inaugural Shannex Research Chair in Aging Transitions at the School of Integrated Health.

As Research Chair, Dr. Bray will advance innovative aging research, strengthen community partnerships and inform policies that support healthy aging in New Brunswick and beyond.

On August 15th, Canada celebrates National Acadian Day.

Across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and beyond, Acadian communities remain vibrant and dynamic, enriching communities through their music, storytelling, culinary traditions, and deep-rooted values. Their lasting presence is a powerful reminder of the resilience of people who ensured their culture and heritage would endure.

In honour of Acadian Day, we spoke to residents and recreation coordinator Shawna Beaupre from Pavillon Landry to learn what the day means to them.
