Our very own Dr. Lindsey Lohnes, ND spent this past weekend volunteering at the Fertility Matters Canada Fertility Matters 6K Walk/Run, cheering on an incredible community.

Today, we observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a day to remember that Every Child Matters then, today, and tomorrow.

We encourage our patients, friends, and family to spend time today reflecting & learning about residential schools in Canada, including the residential school in Shubenacadie (Sipekne’katik).

Today is a day to honour survivors, their families, and all those affected (then & now) by the residential school system’s harm. It’s for the children who never returned home.

Indigenous people have shaped the land on which we live, where we practice, and where we love. Now, we must answer the call for collective remembrance and a call of action towards justice & reconciliation.🧡
