These days I get alot of inquiries about the HOKA line of running shoes. There are some benefits and there are some drawbacks. However, these are client specific as every person, foot, and ailment is different. Not every shoe fits the same foot. But the HOKA wagon is fast moving and everyone is eager to jump on.

Birkenstocks are great for alot of people and not so much for a few.
"My friend Nancy , a nurse, has a pair of ABC or XYZ shoes and loves them. I would like to try them. I sit down and drive a bus for 8 hours a day. I think they will help. ".... hmmm?
I have been a provider of BROOKS running shoes for the last 12 years BEFORE THEY WERE WHERE THEY ARE TODAY IN POPULARITY and I love them. They have a shoe for most people and are foot orthotic friendly. BONUS I can order as per needed and have great customer service.
I will admit I had to jump on the band wagon and try a pair of HOKA runners. They are NOW my garden shoes and I am back into my 6th pair of BROOKS runners. My feet have a few ailments (osteoarthritis, rigid semi fused joints and limited biomechanics) going on in my feet that need more attention than a HOKA can give me.
