🗣A very real part of building a startup that doesn’t always get talked about.

We are in the process of returning/exchanging nearly 50 boxes of our Ananesis Vanilla Protein Bars to retailers.😣

The reality is, a lot of the lead time had already been used before the product even reached the shelf. We were still rounding out our 12 SKU offering, getting our feet underneath us, and learning how to better manage the process from production to retailer.

The retailer shouldn’t be left holding the bag for that.

So we made it right.

It’s not fun seeing nearly 50 boxes come back, but it’s part of building a business. You learn, you adjust, and you do better next time.

Healthy adults aged 19 years or older need about 0.8 grams (g) of protein per kilogram (kg) of body weight each day. Follow the steps below to calculate your protein needs.🔢

Step 1: Weight in pounds (lbs) ÷ 2.2 = weight in kg
Step 2: Weight in kg × 0.8 = approximate daily protein needs in g

For example, an adult who weighs 80 kg (176 lbs) needs about 64 g of protein each day, while an adult who weighs 65 kg (143 lbs) needs about 52 g of protein each day!💪

Expert consensus and clinical studies suggest aiming for 1.2 to 1.5 g/kg/day for older adults managing active muscle wasting or frailty, provided kidney function is normal.👴👵
