TMJ issues don’t always live in the jaw! Osteopathy looks at the whole body, not just the jaw, to determine where the true problem is. With an assessment that looks at your whole body followed by gentle hands-on treatment, an osteopath can release tension, improve jaw movement, and restore balance to your neck, shoulders, and overall posture 💆🏽👄🔎

“I didn’t know such subtle work could make such a huge difference” - almost every client after experiencing craniosacral body work for the first time 😏

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach focused on reducing fascial restrictions around the cranium (head), spine, and sacrum to ease tension within the membranes and fluids that surround and protect the central nervous system🧠

Using gentle, precise palpation, this approach works to improve the mobility of these tissues, regulate healthy fluid dynamics, and support your nervous system. When tension is released in the craniosacral tract, the body often has more capacity to self-regulate which can translate to less pain, less tension, and better overall function 🧘🏾

Craniosacral work can be helpful for:
• Headaches and migraines
• TMJ dysfunction
• Stress, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms
• Chronic pain
• Neck and back pain
• Post-concussion recovery
• Sleep disturbances
• Chronic fatigue syndrome
• Babies with torticollis or flat spots

It’s super gentle, pretty relaxing, but so deeply intentional ✨

You don’t have to wait until something hurts to take care of yourself! Sometimes your body asks for support in smaller, quieter ways 🤫

Because osteopathy is often associated with pain or injury, many people assume you need to be in pain to benefit from treatment, but that isn’t the case. Osteopathy focuses on supporting the body’s natural healing processes and improving how all systems communicate and work together, helping your body function at its best 🧘🏽‍♂️🌿

People seek manual osteopathic treatment for many reasons beyond pain relief: to improve mobility, support recovery after surgery, manage stress, support better breathing, improve posture, prevent future injuries, or simply feel more connected and balanced in their body.

Osteopathy can be a gentle, supportive part of regular preventative care, helping maintain balance and support overall wellbeing 🧘🏾🫶🏾✨
