We provide specialist digestive and liver care in Hamilton, including gastroenterology and hepatology consultations, endoscopy and colonoscopy.

To access care, speak with your family physician or nurse practitioner about a referral. Our clinical team reviews referrals and supporting records to determine the appropriate next steps.

A new age. An important conversation.

Ontario has lowered the starting age for routine colorectal cancer screening from 50 to 45 for people at average risk.

For most people at average risk, screening begins with a FIT kit, a simple stool test you complete at home. Turning 45 does not automatically mean you need a colonoscopy.

Ask your family doctor or nurse practitioner which screening approach is right for you. Be sure to mention any symptoms or family history, as these may change your next steps.

Know the age. Start the conversation.

We’re moving, and we’re excited to share what’s next for Charlton Digestive Disease Centre!

Our new clinic at 211 Pritchard Road, Unit 4, Hamilton is expected to open in mid-November 2026. We look forward to welcoming you into our new space and sharing a few sneak peeks along the way.

For now, all appointments remain at 25 Charlton Avenue East, Suite 406. We’ll share the confirmed opening date and arrival details before the move.

Our new entrance will be on the right side of the building.
