Eating well, exercising… but still struggling with weight or sugar cravings?
Maybe we need to start asking another question:
How well are you actually SLEEPING?
Poor or fragmented sleep can affect the signals that regulate hunger and fullness, increase cravings for quick-energy foods, and leave you with less energy to move and make the choices you normally would.
And over time? That can make maintaining, or losing weight a whole lot harder.
And YES… this matters for our kids, too.
Poor sleep doesn’t always look like a tired child. It can show up as constant snacking, cravings, difficulty regulating emotions, poor focus, changes in weight, or even a child who seems to have endless energy.
So when I see these things alongside:
😮💨 Mouth breathing
💤 Snoring
😬 Grinding
🌙 Restless sleep
🥱 Waking unrefreshed
I know it’s not just about what we’re eating.
It’s also about how we’re sleeping.
