✨ A little “get to know me” post… so grab a coffee because this one is a little longer! ☕️😆
If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind the music, the dancing and hopefully a few smiles along the way, here’s a little bit about me and how I ended up doing what I love. ☺️
I’m 33, I’ve always loved dancing and moving my body, and I’m happiest when I can turn up the music and just MOVE! 💃
And here’s something you might not expect… I can actually be pretty shy at times! 🙈 I’m not always the loudest person in the room, but put on some music and something changes. 😂 My big personality comes out and I’m completely in my element. 💃✨
For most of my life, I lived in a city, so moving to a small town has been such a refreshing and exciting change for me. One of the things I’ve loved most is being able to bring something I’m so passionate about into a community and share it with others.
My Zumba journey actually started when I was pregnant with my second child. I walked into my first Zumba class and immediately fell in love with it. 😍
There was something about being in a room full of people, dancing to great music, moving through all kinds of different styles and just having FUN that made me think…
“Okay… I HAVE to do this.”
And so I did! ❤️
I became a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and a Licensed Zumba Instructor, and now I get to create that same feeling for other people.
My goal is simple: I want people to leave my class smiling, feeling good and proud of themselves for moving their bodies. There’s no pressure to be perfect, just come have fun, move at your own pace and enjoy the music.
So if you’ve ever thought about trying Zumba, tomorrow might be the perfect time to give it a try! ☺️
