If you've been following along, you know these last couple of years have been... eventful.
Losing my Mom.
Three surgeries.
Forty rounds of radiation.
Beating cancer. Twice.
Somehow, through all of it, I came out stronger than I ever expected. A little softer where it matters. A little louder where it counts. And with a whole lot more "f**k around and find out" energy than I had before.
I’m turning 40 next Friday. (Insert shock here😅). This birthday feels less like getting older and more like getting another chance. And that's worth celebrating.
So instead of asking for gifts, I want to give one.

Last surgery is complete. I have been very well taken care of, I am home and I’m feeling good. Thank you all for reaching out and for the well wishes.

Words can’t express the gratefulness I have in my heart for the lessons I’ve learned along this journey, the strength it has given me and for having the ability to wake up each day to enjoy it to the fullest.

Here’s your reminder to (and your bitties…I’m talking to men and women here) and remember that the stupid s**t in life doesn’t matter. It just doesn’t. You matter. That’s it.
