In this beautiful gathering together, Nikki will lead you on a journey into your unique and precious Soul. - and then you will travel back out to create an art altar, curated intentionally to become a talisman for ongoing devotion to your own growing Soul and your next half of the year.

Spending this time with your Soul, and with others of energetic alignment, is so important; especially in the times we find ourselves. We must be keenly aware of our own Soul health and our Power to self garden, self create, and self heal within a Community Container of nourishment… AND offer the Gift of Witnessing and Support to our spirit community while they tend their work.

Pride...

As a q***r human, I hold this month and the essence of my q***rness with the layers it demands.

There are so many competitive energies around it.

The movement where it began, in protest and a fight back against full-on violent oppression for existing. Violence that was met with defense by return violence. Warrirors. A system that had been so twisted, those who were duty bound to protect the vulnerable BEING the threat against them.

We are seeing it again and it sickens me.

We also have capitalism exploiting the movements with either token ally-ship and/or literally making money off the folks trying to just exist and pay their survival bills. Slap a rainbow on anything and sell it back to us to give billionaires more billions.

And yet...
The rainbow and the colours and the symbols are SO important to us. Human's first language is symbol and metaphor. We ascribe deep and profound meanings to symbols, and the q***r symbols help us see ourselves in a world that has often tried to erase us from existence.

Pride month is our middle finger to the oppressive bu****it that tries to silence us, make us disappear, tells us were evil or dirty or a sin for literally being human beings who love and enjoy life with other consenting human beings. All based in some fu**ed up religious oppression that came down with the obsessive need to control the masses.

Pride is necessary for us. It's essential to hang onto in a good way. Others may try to twist and slime all over the symbols and the celebrations and the movement... But we only give them power if we choose to.

So happy Pride for June (the Stonewall riot was in June), and happy Pride for the summer season (Canada's movement started in August) and happy Pride all fu***ng year long. Because we exist all year long. And I, for one, will not apologize for being in view.

Within her practice, Haven, Nikki creates holistic, anti-oppressive, intentionally inclusive spaces, where she acts as Guide and Companion while walking alongside her clients. She has been holding retreats for women for over 11 years, art based healing offerings for over 15, and brings deeply compassionate holding, filled with kindness, validation, and radical acceptance. She credits many mentors and teachers over her lifetime for the Wisdom she has received, integrated, and brings forth in her work; these teachers include humans, more-than-humans, and always the Land Herself.
