A friend once told me, āI forgave the unforgivable,ā a statement whose power I only understood later. Last January, severe knee pain stopped me from walkingāone of my greatest sources of healing. I realized the pain was tied to a childhood trauma I had long buried. When it surfaced, I felt anger and resentment. Through the difficult work of forgiveness, I allowed myself to be vulnerable, shared my truth with my family, and let those emotions go. Release, release, releaseāletting go of what no longer serves me. Thank you, Sylvie Savoie for that powerful statement.
