Thank you to everyone who helped out during the recent Smile Cookie campaign. The volunteers who decorated and wrapped cookies during the week displayed an enthusiasm and joy that lit up the restaurant and brought smiles to many faces. Dave, who delivered thousands of cookies around town, always adds a tremendous amount of colour and excitement to the week. And the generosity of the businesses, groups and individuals who purchased cookies all week long was absolutely astounding! You demonstrated every day the true meaning of “Pay It Forward.” On behalf of the Northwest Health Foundation, I salute High Level, Manning and our other northern communities for your support and compassion. Your generosity will make a difference in the lives of many children and their families in our area. Cheers to you all!!

What a wonderful week this has been!. Our eager volunteers and supportive communities have made Smile Cookie week a great experience so far. In fact, your support has been so phenomenal that more Cookies will arrive at Tims on Monday so that we are able to fill all your orders! We are thrilled and humbled by the community support.

However, this also means that we will be looking for volunteers to help us decorate the Smile Cookies and get them delivered early next week! I’m attaching the link to the Volunteer Sign Up here again. If you are available on Tuesday and/or Wednesday, May 5th and 6th, please consider coming over to Tims to help us out.

Remember: you can still purchase Smile cookies until Sunday evening. If you haven’t ordered yet, this is your chance!

The children and families in the Northwest area will benefit tremendously from this support!
