🍑 Peaches and nectarines are DONE! 🎉

60 jars later, and we are set (hopefully!) until next year!! 😝

Why do I ABSOLUTELY love freeze-drying? Because I add NOTHING.

These nectarines and peaches are VERY versatile.

Have you ever tried bringing canned peaches up a mountain? On a road trip? Flying? Probably not… and I wouldn't recommend it. 😂😉

Canned food, even homemade, needs sugar or salt depending on what you're making.

Freeze-dried food? Nothing. 💯% fruit or veggies, just the way God made them.

AND freeze-dried food can do all that and more!! 😆

Finally finished cutting up my thousands of peaches (or so it seemed 😂) and now it’s tart cherries!

A long-time friend graciously let me pick her many trees and I honestly loved every minute of it. 🍒

It takes about 2 hours to do ONE gallon because I have to take every single pit out with a straw. These cherries are way too small for a cherry pitter. 😆
I’m so thankful for a friend who came today to help, and my husband too! ❤️

I’ve got 6 gallons done and only 4 gallons left to go! ,😳

Saturday, August 22, I’ll be at the Aspen Crossing market in Mossleigh from 10:00–3:00.

Well, today’s market is cancelled. 🌧️
With the Bar U Ranch Rodeo being cancelled because of the wet grounds, the market has been cancelled too.
The new date is Sunday, September 20.
Hopefully we get better weather next time!

Between the rain ☔, two markets back to back this weekend and sheer exhaustion 🥱 plus soooo many projects on the go 🫣, I won't be attending the High River Farmers Market today. My apologies! However, I'm more than willing to drop off anything you want. DM me and we will figure it out.

New product alert! ❤️

Can you guess what’s in the jars? 🫙

This one was inspired by my daughter. She made her own version at home and I thought, “I need to try that too!!” 😊

I had so much fun making this batch (even if I only got them done at 11:00 PM 🥱😆) and I’m excited to bring it to market this week.
