On more reasons to heal...
Good morning beautiful souls.
Sometimes I'll watch videos, read a book, or dive into some random internet research about a certain subject until I see or hear what I need to.
This morning, I've been listening to healer channels and short podcasts. None of them quite hit, but the knowledge shared was amazing nonetheless.
Then I came back to Facebook and saw a video from an intuitive woman sharing her message the way she always does. She's magical. Lol.
I opened the video, and right away, she leans in and says, so clearly it felt loud:
"You're in alignment."
And looks right into my soul. š
Okay. Thanks, Creator. Thanks, Ancestors. Thank you, Mother Earth, and Mother of the Earth, Nipi (Water)! šš½
I was feeling some pressure. Some worry. Some old triggers that, in the past, would have had my nervous system sending out a frenzy of chaotic signals, causing me to crash out.
And you want to know why I would crash out?
Because in my learned way of being, if I didn't have it all together and figured out, someone was going to punish me for it.
Somewhere along the way, my nervous system learned to treat uncertainty like danger. Like I needed to have every answer, anticipate every outcome, and keep everything together to stay safe. If I didnt; I failed and it was impending doom. Sound familiar to you?
The roots of this go deep. Centuries and lifetimes, into the depths of the earth.
That's a hell of a way to live when you're just trying to be a human being. š®āšØ....
But the beautiful thing about healing is that eventually, you begin to recognize the difference between what you're experiencing and what you've learned to believe about it.
You start catching yourself.
You start noticing the old signals.
You start realizing, Hold on now... I don't have to abandon myself just because something feels uncertain. That's where the healing work becomes real.
Beacause I know better, so I can do better.
Not because I've mastered life or because I've figured everything out and definitely not because I never feel fear, pressure, or worry anymore.
I am learning to trust myself through it.
To surrender what I cannot control.
To return to what I know to be true:
I am safe. All is well. Life is beautiful.
That's what alignment looks like sometimes.
Not some grand spiritual experience. Not having everything fall into place before you become happy.
It's recognizing that the old version of you would have spiraled... and this time, you chose to listen, breathe, and come back to yourself.
So you celebrate, give gratitude, be present and vibe off that win into your next one. It's a beautiful life on the other side of pain, outside of trauma and trauma related conditioning. No doubt about that.
Now, if you'll excuse me, my kitchen is waiting for its own healing ceremony. šš„
Ekosi. š
