We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Cindy and her beautiful family (joined by a few other therapist guests throughout the day!) representing The Hub at Oxford County Pride’s family day event for the third year running!

We are a proud participant in the Family Day event year after year because we believe it’s important to support LGBTQIA2S+ folxs and families of all configurations and ages! Inclusion and empathy learning starts at a young age; participating in local Pride initiatives (even if you don’t self-identify as a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community) helps your children to respect, protect, and love every valued member of our community at an early age.

We are all human first, and we all deserve safety and equal opportunities in this beautiful community ❤️❤️

While you visit us, why not ask Cindy about brainspotting, PMDD, or neurodivergence?! Rumour has it, she is obsessed with providing education, and loves to talk about her areas of clinical focus!

🌈✨ My kids and I are so excited to be representing Ingersoll Wellness Hub at Pride this year! 🏳️‍🌈💜

Celebrating love, inclusion, community, and a space where everyone belongs. 🫶🌈
Come say hi, connect with us, and celebrate Pride together! ✨

Facts about Narcissistic Abuse 💔

Narcissistic abuse can happen in many types of relationships — including a parent, partner, boss, friend, or other authority figure.

It is often subtle, chronic, and emotionally confusing. It may include:
• Gaslighting that makes you doubt your reality
• Cycles of idealization, devaluation, and discard
• Emotional invalidation, control, or manipulation
• Feeling “not enough” no matter what you do
• Walking on eggshells to avoid conflict

Over time, this can deeply impact self-esteem, nervous system regulation, and emotional safety.

Healing is possible 🌿
Approaches like Brainspotting can support trauma processing by helping the brain and body access and release stored emotional pain, especially when words aren’t enough.

You deserve clarity, safety, and reconnection to yourself 💛

🌿 Registration for Room to Bloom is closing soon! 🌿

In just a couple of weeks, a small group of us will gather each Thursday evening in a greenhouse surrounded by flowers, fresh air, and the gentle reminder that growth rarely happens all at once.

Room to Bloom is not your typical therapy group.

Over 10 weeks, we'll explore mental wellness, mindfulness, healthy relationships, self-compassion, and resilience through a blend of psychotherapy, nature, creativity, and community. Each week includes therapeutic discussion and activities, time spent outdoors, and the opportunity to create and take home your own floral arrangement.

If you've been feeling disconnected, burned out, stuck in survival mode, or simply craving more beauty, meaning, and connection in your life, this group was designed with you in mind.

🌸 Group begins June 18
🌸 Thursdays, 5:00–7:00 PM
🌸 Outdoor greenhouse setting near Ingersoll
🌸 Facilitated by Registered Psychotherapist Melanie Rodrigues

Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the group intimate and meaningful, and registration will be closing shortly.

Sometimes healing looks less like "fixing yourself" and more like planting yourself somewhere you can grow.

If you've been thinking about joining, now is the time.

📩 Message us or visit www.ingersollwellness.ca/bloom for details and registration.

A teen therapists' perspective.

Our teens aren’t trying to shut us out — they’re trying to figure out who they are.

It can feel like they’re pulling away, needing more space, wanting more independence… and that’s hard as a parent. But the truth is, they don’t need us less during these years — they need us differently.

They still look to us for guidance, support, and stability — just not in the same ways as when they were little.

What keeps the door open isn’t more rules or tighter control… it’s connection.

Listening without jumping in.
Showing up without pushing.
Being a safe place instead of a constant authority.

Independence doesn’t mean disconnection.
If we lead with connection, they’re far more likely to keep letting us in. 💛

So many of the women I work with are experiencing very real perimenopausal symptoms, yet are still searching for clear answers and support.

Perimenopause can be complex. Symptoms don’t always follow a predictable pattern, and hormonal shifts can begin years before menopause...impacting mood, sleep, anxiety, focus, and overall well-being.

It’s not uncommon for these experiences to be misunderstood or attributed to other factors, which can leave many women feeling confused or discouraged.

This is why continued research, education, and open conversations between women and their healthcare providers are so important.

This work matters. 🤍
Education matters. 📚
Being heard matters. 🫶

If you’ve been feeling “off,” you’re not alone, and your experience is valid. 🌿

Feeling a little… unhinged?

Same.

Come process your existential dread in a greenhouse with flowers instead of doom-scrolling alone. 🌸

In Room to Bloom, we combine psychotherapy, gardening, and floral design into a group that is equal parts meaningful conversation and beautiful chaos.

You’ll leave every week with:
🌿 new insights
🌿 dirt under your fingernails
🌿 a bouquet you made yourself

Honestly… it’s therapy, but prettier.
