Do you know how much salt you consume in a day?
The recommended salt intake is 3.8g/day for adults (ages 19-50).
If salt intake is too high for long periods of time it can cause hypertension (high blood pressure).
Tips for reducing 🧂 🧂:
•cook at home
•choose unprocessed food
•limit salted snacks
•limit sauces (ex.soy sauce, ketchup)
•limit deli meat
•flavour foods with lemon, garlic powder instead of salt
