is a registered charity non-profit organization formed in 2013. Although the Assiniboine Valley Health and Wellness Foundation, Inc. may only be in its’ infancy, this foundation is but a milestone along a long, long journey of community members working towards a vision of growth and vibrancy; a community of preference for the people in and surrounding the Town of Kamsack. This newly formed foundat
ion has been given the responsibility of managing the facilities and services of the new medical clinic in an effective and efficient manner based on cost recovery strategy. The foundation will also be responsible to raise funds and provide ongoing health and wellness facilities and services to the people of Kamsack and its’ surrounding areas. In order to accomplish such tasks, the Town of Kamsack sent out a call seeking dedicated volunteers from the Kamsack and district area. As stated on the foundation’s website www.assiniboinevalleyhealthandwellnessfoundation.com these volunteers will be required to run the foundation with the following values in mind:
