Dandelion Appreciation Post! 🌼
I adore seeing a lawn speckled in yellow happiness. There’s just something so enlivening about their presence and it’s held within their essence.
From a gardening perspective, they are great for your soil!
🌼 The tap-root pulls calcium up from the soil making it available for other plants and us, when we ingest them. Their roots loosen soil, keeping it aerated and well drained. Pro tip: if Dandelions have taken over, it’s because you have compact soil and they’re fixing it for you. So, just thank them and let them do their thing!
From an energetics perspective, their essence is VALUED!
🌼 If you feel burnt out from overachieving, Dandelion’s flower essence could be your friend. Dandelions are well-rooted and connecting with them helps us to ground (root) ourselves. Their essence promotes strength, resiliency and feeling present. The bright yellow flowers resonate with our solar plexus, helping us to find our centre and reconnect with the source of our own power.
From a health perspective, they’re packed with benefits!
🌼 Medicinal Qualities:
- liver detoxifier
- aids our digestion
- packed with antioxidants, like beta-carotene, and other vitamins
- improves skin tone
PRO: The entire plant is edible and medicinal.
CON: idk, none? I’m down to argue in the comments.
If you pull up the whole plant, use the WHOLE plant!!
Let yourself feel energized, yet grounded, and do not be afraid to be bright and bold like our beautiful Dandelion 🌼
