Most women with Endometriosis suffer from this disease for 10 years or more before they get an accurate diagnosis.

The pelvic and abdominal pain from Endo is debilitating.

I see teens and women in my physio clinic that can't go to school or have had to stop working.

They are devastated mentally and emotionally because they can't enjoy activities with their friends, families and in their communities.

They often have excruciating pain with in*******se, so their intimate relationships suffer too.

Many women with Endo suffer in silence with pelvic pain thinking that pain with periods or pain with s*x is "normal".
I want to break that silence and transmute the misunderstanding and misinformation about Endometriosis.

If you suffer from symptoms related to Endometriosis then see a pelvic physiotherapist; book an appointment today.

Cyclists: If your saddle is causing pelvic pain... your body is trying to tell you something.

Cycling is fantastic for fitness β€” but sometimes the bike seat isn't so friendly to your pelvic nerves.

Pressure from a narrow saddle can irritate the pudendal nerve, leading to symptoms like:

β€’ Ge***al numbness while riding
β€’ Burning pelvic pain after rides
β€’ Tingling or altered sensation
β€’ Pain with sitting after cycling

Good news: most cyclists don't need to stop riding.

Book a Pelvic Physio session today if pain is stopping you from riding.

We ALL need reminders that
"your body is a miracle".

When we are in pain or feel as though our bodies have let us down, reminding ourselves how magical and how resilient the human body is can be empowering.

The human body is capable of amazing things.....sometimes it just needs guidance and support.πŸ’•

Much gratitude to for a transformative biodynamic craniosacral session yesterday and for helping remind me what a calm, regulated nervous system feels like. πŸ™

Do you have tailbone pain?

There are many reasons why it can hurt to sit.

Tailbone pain is not only due to sitting.

It can also be our body's reaction to stress which may trigger clenching of the pelvic floor and buttock muscles...... much like how we habitually clench our jaw muscles.

An emotionally traumatic event can trigger this kind of pain or sometimes it's related to a physical injury.

Many of my patients invest in standing desks and are frustrated when their tailbone is still sore for many months.

Pelvic physiotherapy is effective at getting to the root cause of tailbone pain.
Book an appointment today if you are in pain.

Does the idea lasting an entire chairlift ride without needing to go p*e, cause you anxiety?

Good news: pelvic physiotherapy can help you regain pelvic floor control and confidence so you can enjoy all the winter sports you love.
