Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Project Lifesaver and Angelsense?
Each program has a lot to offer. It's all about finding what is the right fit for each individual.

AngelSense's current device uses 4G LTE and continuous GPS, with location updates as frequently as every 10 seconds. It also has departure/arrival alerts, unexpected-location alerts, geofencing, an alarm, two-way voice, and a "Runner Mode" for an active wandering incident

Project Lifesaver is quite different. In Nova Scotia, trained volunteers from Ground Search & Rescue teams can respond, and the transmitter's unique signal can be followed by specialized equipment even when the person is stationary or moving and through obstacles such as buildings and heavy forest.

For a serious wandering risk where the priority is getting a trained search team involved: Project Lifesaver has a major advantage.

The important distinction is that Project Lifesaver isn't really a GPS tracker you use to watch someone on your phone. If the person disappears, the caregiver calls 911, and police can initiate the Project Lifesaver search response.

Simply put;

AngelSense: "Where are they right now, and can I intervene immediately?"

Project Lifesaver: "They're missing — let's get trained responders equipped to find them."

Sometimes we’re not always looking for a person..

Our Project Lifesaver Association of Nova Scotia team got a call for a Transmitter which was no longer on the client .. so we started searching at areas the client had visited today
Just before we got to clients house we got a call the transmitter was found, we politely asked to have the transmitter hidden so we could practice our skills and we found it near the house in the woods.. Mom was impressed with the search technique and bracelet is securely back on the client with transmitter attached equals happy ending!

Congratulations to Annapolis County Ground Search & Rescue for quickly locating our wandering client and delivering him back to his home. Project Lifesaver is radio signal-based, so very effective everywhere, but especially important in areas of low/no cell or internet coverage.

Earlier this evening, our team was activated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia and Project Lifesaver Association of Nova Scotia to locate a vulnerable person who had wandered into the woods of the North Mountain. Our Electronic Search Specialists picked up a signal from his bracelet (it emits a radio signal every second) immediately upon arrival to the location, and after bushwhacking through the unforgiving terrain and vegetation for an hour, located him alive and well, and delivered him back home.
